Many friends, family, and fans greeted Mercito and praised him for his 7th round TKO victory over Luis Arceo. Fans from all ages enjoyed a variety of food and joined in on some exciting family games in which Mercito himself participated joyfully in. It was a fun night of celebration for everyone in attendance. On behalf of Mercito “No Mercy” Gesta, “THANK YOU to all my supporters, fans, friends, and family around the world. At the office, Mercito was also greeted by a popular Filipino Songwriter and famous pop singer from the Philippines, Ms. Joey Albert. Together, all three taped a fabulous interview for the NAAC program “Owning a Piece of America” on Lifestyle Network (TFC Channel) which will be aired in the next few days. Photo Credit: Aris Duenas & Tri Nguyen Congratulations to Mercito “No Mercy” Gesta for his 28th victory against Luis “El Vampiro” Arceo last night on Fox Sports 1 presented by Golden Boy Promotions, Paco Presents, and Don Chargin & Jorge Marron Promotions. Check out EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS of the entire fight! It was a great night of boxing at the Longshoremen’s Hall in San Francisco where Mercito dominated from the initial bell. Mercito showcased not only his power in both hands, but his speed, foot movement, and head movement, keeping Luis off balance throughout the night. In the end, Mercito was too much for Luis as clearly seen in the facial damage that was inflicted by Mercito punches. Doctor’s after 7 rounds of boxing, stopped the fight and Mercito proudly celebrated his 28th victory (28-1-1 16KOs). As Mercito stated on his Facebook Fan Page (Mercito Gesta): “First of all I want to thank God for giving me the strength to be victories last night!! Photo Credit: Duenas Aris It was a beautiful day in San Francisco, CA as Mercito “No Mercy” Gesta stepped on the scale to take on boxing veteran Luis “El Vampiro” Arceo at the Madam Tussauds for the Main Event bout on Friday, July 18th presented by Paco Presents, Golden Boy Promotions, and Don Chargin and Jorge Marron Promotions LIVE on Fox Sports 1. Mercito weighed in at 138.5lbs, while Luis weighed in at an even 137lbs. Check out EXCLUSIVE PHOTOS of the weigh-in. As Mercito stated after the weigh-in, “I feel good and am excited for tomorrow’s fight….can’t wait”.
